Ask ORYSITE to buy your domain

A domain is paid for a defined period, generally one year in this flow. Availability or an accepted quote does not reserve the name; registration must be confirmed.

In your client space, first open the relevant project. Some buttons only appear when that step is available.

Step by step

  1. In “Website address”, select “ORYSITE buys my domain for me”. Enter the name and choose “Check availability and pricing”.

  2. If unavailable, try another name. Otherwise review the first-year price, current renewal price and quote expiry.

  3. Complete the registrant information: the person or business that will own the domain. Check the email and exact domain spelling. For .ca, provide your actual eligibility. You can save the details for a future order.

  4. Confirm the domain and registrant. Before the first subscription payment, a confirmed domain is included in that payment summary. With an existing subscription, “Pay for the domain only” pays the separate order.

  5. After payment, ORYSITE purchases the domain and prepares the connection. Follow its statuses and check the registrant’s email; the registrar may require verification.

Good to know

Before payment, “Choose another domain” lets you abandon the quote as indicated. After payment, contact ORYSITE. Annual renewal is not automatic in this flow and is separate from the subscription. A domain marked “test” is fictitious and cannot work on the Internet.
