The address is what visitors enter to open your site. An included ORYSITE address looks like mybusiness.orysite.com. A personal domain looks like mybusiness.ca or mybusiness.com.
Step by step
In your project, open “Website address”. Your included ORYSITE address is enough to publish with your subscription.
Before publication, if “Customize my ORYSITE address” is available, open it, choose a name and select “Choose this address”. Availability is checked when saved.
Under “Choose my address”, keep the included address, select “I already own a domain”, or choose “ORYSITE buys my domain for me”.
If unsure, keep the included address. You can add your own domain later without rebuilding your site.
Check the primary address and its status. A ready connection means the address is prepared; ORYSITE still needs to publish a paid and approved version.
Good to know
A preview link is private and differs from the public address. Buying a domain does not by itself create a business email inbox or website. You do not need to buy a domain to get started.
